The schematic of the New Staircase Generator (NSG) is shown below. The two short-circuited lumped inductance
two-turn magnets (A and B) are pulsed each from six Pulse Forming Network (PFN) cable generators connected
in series. Each PFN consists of two cables in parallel and each PFN pair is positively charged from a common
pulsed resonant power supply.
